Brooklyn feels worlds away from the heart of The Big Apple. Similar to Manhattan, this eclectic borough boasts its own unique and bustling culture that’s definitely worth exploring — which makes its the perfect place for a staycation! Here, are our top three hotels in Brooklyn that are worth the trip (or the train ride) alone…
1️⃣ The William Vale (@thewilliamvale): This hip, luxury property offers panoramic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Each of the 183 rooms features a sleek, minimalist design — and furnished balconies (!) — while common spaces are adorned with trendy, modern artwork. Westlight, the 22nd-floor rooftop bar, is not to be missed, as is the ground-floor Italian eatery, Leuca. On the fourth floor, you’ll find the Vale Pool, where you can soak up the sun, rent a cabana, and enjoy an Aperol Spritz in between laps. If you close your eyes hard enough, you’ll feel like you’re in the Amalfi Coast…
2️⃣ The Hoxton, Williamsburg (@thehoxtonhotel): The trendy, British-born hotel chain marked its US debut with the opening of its Williamsburg outpost. Here, rooms are retro-inspired and equipped with King-size beds, velvet green headboards, a curated collection of books, locally crafted ceramics, and funky patterned bed linens. In the lobby, you’ll find millennial pink-hued velvet armchairs, bookshelves full of knick-knacks and plants, and classic hardwood floors. Out of the three on-site restaurants, our favorite happens to be Summerly, the hip (and stunning) rooftop bar that serves up, well, summertime classics like tropical cocktails, lobster rolls, fish tacos, and more
3️⃣ 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge (@1hotels): Located in the heart of DUMBO, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is the place to see and be seen. Its chic interiors feature living walls, lots of lush greenery, and a bespoke European-inspired flair. Meanwhile, the guest rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows, lots of wood, and industrial-chic decor. Perhaps the best amenity is the on-site rooftop plunge pool: While it’s not ideal for swimming laps (it’s only three-freet deep), it is the perfect place to sunbathe, spot celebs, and admire the NYC views
