The Russell
Housed in a 115-year-old historic church, The Russel is one of Nashville’s most unique stays. It has 23 unique rooms, each with its one character. One thing we really love is that the owners were able to preserve many of the building’s original features, including stained glass windows and old brick walls, and they even repurposed pews as bed headboards. Although it has old touches, the furniture is contemporary and comfortable, giving guests the best of both worlds.
In terms of location, the hotel can be found in Germantown, right next to some of the best eateries, breweries, and cultural attractions in the city. As a special touch, The Russell donates a portion of each night’s stay to local homeless ministries. On average, a stay at The Russell provides 16 beds and warm meals at nearby homeless shelters.
