Best US Hotels for Glamping While Social Distancing

There’s no better time like the present to embark on a socially distant glamping getaway. From a Scandinavian-inspired hotel in the Catskill mountains to an expansive, 4,600-acre property in Missouri, to an all-inclusive enclave in Montana, here are the best US hotels for glamping👇

1️⃣ Big Cedar Lodge (@bigcedarlodge): This lakefront retreat is nestled in the Ozarks and is an outdoor lover’s oasis. When you’re not glamping in one of the luxe tents, huts, or cabins — each of which is outfitted with a King-sized canopy bed, gorgeous chandeliers, a private outdoor lounge area, and an outdoor tub — you can boat, swim, water ski, fish, and connect with nature. Alternatively, hit up the tranquil spa, which is complete with an indoor grotto and ice room. Other on-site amenities and activities include miniature golf, a lazy river, bonfires (roasted marshmallows, yes, plz!), and so much more. Don’t sleep on any of the 13 on-site eateries, either.

2️⃣ Eastwind (@eastwindny): This design-forward mountain hideaway is ideal for couples, friend groups, and adults looking to ~get away from it all~. The recently renovated property spans 17 tranquil acres and offers several accommodations, including standard guest rooms, suites, and glamping units (called Lushnas). These A-framed wooden structures are complete with one floor-to-ceiling window, a Queen-sized bed, and cozy patterned blankets. Eastwind also recently rolled out several loft-style Lushna Suites, which offer extra space (a queen bed and a pull-out bed), a writer’s nook, a private deck and firepit, and a hammock.

3️⃣ The Resort at Paws Up (@theresortatpawsup): Spanning 37,000 (!) scenic acres, The Resort at Paws Up offers something for everyone. Here, guests can go hiking (fun fact: there are over 100 miles of historic trails to choose from!), fishing, horseback riding, or choose from dozens of other bucket-list-worthy, action-packed activities. Accommodations range from luxury tents to private homes. No matter which tent or home you choose to stay in, you’ll enjoy comforts like plush linens, rustic-chic furnishings, and en-suite baths.
