Boutique Hotels with Creative Halloween Offerings for Guests

These hotel Halloween packages may be scary good, but there’s nothing spooky about them. Below, our four favorite Halloween packages from trendy boutique-style hotels across the country.

Estancia La Jolla

Calling all Bridgerton fans: This one’s for you. At Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in California, guests can attend the swanky Bridgerton-themed masquerade ball, which boasts plenty of bubbly, mouthwatering eats, and live entertainment. The Bridgerton Masquerade Halloween Soirée includes two tickets to the festivities, parking, a waived resort fee, in-room sweets. Be sure to also visit the property’s Boozy Garden Tea Times, where you can enjoy live music (including tunes from the hit show!), a selection of snacks, and gourmet teas.

Spooky season is in full swing at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa. Here, guests of all ages can take part in the property’s Halloween Hideaway, where festivities range from tarot card readings to candle making. Little ones can even go trick-or-treating or partake in a scavenger hunt while the grown-ups enjoy cocktails at the swanky on-site restaurant and bar.

The Wayfarer Downtown Los Angeles

Situated in downtown Los Angeles, this trendy boutique hotel is pulling out all the stops for its first annual Spooky Tea at the on-site underground bar, Lilly Rose. Here, you can indulge in hauntingly good drinks (spooky-yet-spiked cocktails, anyone?) and plenty of light bites (pumpkin bread, lobster rolls, curried chicken salad, and more).

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City has teamed up with Grim Ghost Tours to offer the “Nightmare on Main Street” package. Guests will be afforded the opportunity to experience some of the city’s most haunted locales — all while spotting a few ghosts and hearing scary stories along the way. The package also includes a $50 food and beverage credit, a selection of horror movies to watch in your room, and a Ouija board to play with — that is, if you dare.
