Nestled in the heart of New York’s Catskill Mountains, Eastwind (@eastwindny) is a design-forward boutique property features Scandanavian-inspired design, bespoke furnishings, and cozy vibes all year round.
The 17-acre property dates back to the 1920s, when it served as a bunkhouse for adventure enthusiasts, fly fishermen, and hunters. Eastwind is home to 16 spacious, rustic-chic-inspired rooms and suites, along with 10 glamping units (known as Lushna Cabins and Suites), which range in size to hold up to two or four guests.
The 220-square-feet, A-lined shaped glamping units, known as Lushnas, are equipped with one large floor-to-ceiling window, a queen bed, and patterned blankets. Craving even more luxury? Stay in one of the brand new, loft-style Lushna Suites — all of which feature a Queen-sized bed, a couch and pull-out bed, a writer’s nook, a private bathroom (inside the suite), a private outdoor deck, an individual fire pit, an outdoor shower, and a hammock.
Other property highlights include the wood barrel tub and sauna, outdoor yoga classes, and the impeccably designed cocktail bar/game room space, complete with a vintage Malm fireplace.
