Folly Mojave offers a unique immersion into the natural beauty of the desert. This 200-acre oasis, designed by Los Angeles-based architect Malek Alqadi, is tucked away between the raw beauty of the Mojave National Preserve and the well-known Joshua Tree National Park. With its striking architectural style that reflects the earthy tones, rough textures, and surreal scenery of the desert, Folly Mojave stands apart from all other retreats.

The hideaway features three standalone structures, each symbolizing one of nature’s elements, blending effortlessly into the harsh yet beautiful desert terrain. With an outdoor sky terrace that’s ideal for stargazing, the Water suite seamlessly combines indoor and outdoor life. The Fire + Stone and Wind suites offer similar luxurious experiences, with expansive windows that frame breathtaking desert vistas.

With sustainability at its core, Folly Mojave powers each room with solar panels shaped like trees, attempting to resemble a self-sufficient microgrid. Inspired by the Oasis of Mara, the Mara Pavilion provides a calm area for spa treatments, replete with a heated pool, sauna, and steam room. For a unique dining experience, guests can visit a private outpost for campfire dinners and s’mores under the desert sky.
