Open since summer 2023 and part of Marriott Bonvoy’s spirited indie boutique hotel brand Tribute Portfolio, Montreal’s HONEYROSE Hotel has distinct art deco design elements — expect lots of velvet, gold, and wood materials plus striking brass light fixtures — and original works from local artists. When it comes to details, no stone has been left unturned: In homage to the hotel’s name, you’ll find motifs of honey (symbolizing nature’s golden gift) and roses (representing love and passion) in the form of gold flecks on the marble-tiled floors.
