Hotel Zoom-In: The Hermosa Inn

The Hermosa Inn (@hermosainn) is a small boutique hotel near Scottsdale, Arizona, which hosts 43 rooms set on six acres. With a storied past, the hotel was the former refuge of cowboy painter Lon Megargee in the 1930s. Today, guests can peruse through the on-site flora & fauna-filled gardens and admire Megargree’s various art pieces. When visiting the resort, travelers can expect Southwestern-style guestrooms and hacienda-like casitas replete with a décor that combines the charm of old Arizona with splendors that pay homage to the hotel’s historic past. When in the desert, nothing is more refreshing than a dip in the pool—the Inn’s is perfect for lounging, especially with its spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. At in-house fine-dining establishment, LON’s at The Hermosa Inn, gastronomes will be in heaven with the restaurant’s global-yet-Arizona-style cuisine, Chef’s Tasting Menu that changes every week, and carefully curated wine list. Make sure to head to our IGTV to check out this past weekend’s “Checking In with Hotels Above Par,” which featured a discussion with Marketing Director, Melanie Volkers, who gave us the low-down on the measures the hotel is taking to ensure guests feel comfortable & safe, her dream itinerary for future guests, and why The Hermosa Inn should be on your U.S. bucket list.🌵 (📷: @hermosainn)
