Hotel Zoom-In: Oku Kos

Oku Kos (@okuhotels) in Greece is a sleek, five-star hotel designed to make guests feel as if they are in a friend’s hip house; the only difference is that your friend’s house probably doesn’t have the multitude of luxe services the hotel offers. Oku Kos’ aesthetic is redolent of traditional Greek island architecture, while at the same time projecting cubist, contemporary, and minimalist dimensioned one and two-story houses. Beige, sand-like overtones cast a slight bohemian atmosphere that feels as if the mountains, villages, and beaches of Kos are infused in every corner of the property. Epicureans seeking a seaside dining experience will adore Kima Beach Club as it offers an all-day menu that harnesses in on farm-to-table gastronomy, led by Greek Chef, Ettore Botrini. Our mouths are watering just thinking about the Greek-inspired breakfast — a spread with local fruits, yogurts, homemade granola, overnight oats, cheeses, meats, and pastries. At the end of the day, Aegean sunsets are best enjoyed while lounging – of course, with an Ouzo-infused libation in-hand — on one of the hotel’s beach-located sunbeds.
