This Chic Hotel Is Right Next to Ibiza’s Old Town

Let’s be real: Ibiza is the ultimate summer hotspot. Gorgeous beaches, crystal clear blue waters, fantastic nightlife, and a charming old town are some of the best ways to immerse yourself in the Spanish island.

However, most hotels in Ibiza weren’t beachside until recently. And, while they could be a short distance or drive, rarely were they located directly on the beach, which is what makes Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay incredibly appealing. Nestled on the shores of Talamanca Bay, the hotel’s close proximity to the island’s most popular spots (like Ibiza Old Town) is one of its biggest draws.

With various hues of whites, blues, golds, and beiges all around the property, it’s a true Mediterranean-inspired haven. Breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean are the focal point of the property, which is what inspired the decor throughout the space. Touches like various wood elements, rattan details, and huge white sofas all bring your attention back to the sea, exuding laid-back luxury around every corner. Overall, the hotel is a spot to relax and unwind amidst the busyness of the popular Balearic island.

All 152 rooms and suites feature some sort of design details from local artists, including hand-painted ceramics or artwork. At the end of a day spent outside, the space is a calming reprieve. Floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and white marble bathrooms are just a few of the notable details. And, the ocean-inspired color palette continues with cream walls and turquoise furnishings.

The facilities are equally as showstopping, beginning with the two swimming pools. One pool is for adults and one is for families, so the space is great for those of all ages. Wooden cabanas and sunbeds are everywhere in the outdoor area, ideal for lounging and catching some of the Ibizian sun. In addition, there is a Six Senses Spa, offering holistic wellness treatments, along with a gorgeous fitness center.

Arguably the best part of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is the onsite food offerings. The hotel’s namesake restaurant, Nobu, serves up traditional menu favorites alongside Balearic cuisine options. For example, you’ll find Nobu’s famous crispy rice and miso-glazed black cod alongside carabinero shiso salsa. Onsite there is also Chambao, an all-day eatery with an incredible breakfast buffet and freshly-caught seafood options, and a juice bar called the Bay Cafe. Guests can also snag poolside bites—with a special menu—from both of the property’s main restaurants.

Most recently, the hotel opened a summer pop-up dubbed Gusto, which is headed by Michelin Star chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho with exceptional Spanish dishes. They also launched new wellness offerings, including holistic hikes and mental-health-focused supper clubs. Plus, the highly anticipated Nobu Lounge, a rooftop spot, just opened its doors, too.
