What began as a classic American farmhouse, first built in 1873, opened as Farmhouse Inn in 1981 with six rooms and has since grown to 25 rooms. As a fixture in the community, the Inn sets the standard for hospitality in the area, effortlessly blending its identity as a family-owned country inn with the amenities of a Four-Diamond luxury boutique hotel.
Soon after arrival, a glass of wine is placed in hand. Then hotel guests are escorted over to the spa bar where they can help themselves to a selection of locally made bath bars, body scrubs, and bath beads to enjoy later in the tub. The property offers five different classes of rooms ranging from the Farmhouse Kings to the ultimate King Luxury Suites. In early 2022 the Inn renovated their Petite Cottage Suites, which at 550 square feet house a luxurious four-poster king-size bed and a second sleeping area with a full-size bed separated by a statement barn door along with a gas fireplace.
The Wellness Barn offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic experiences – from a massage with warm basalt stones and cool gemstones to a sensory treatment with Pacific Sea salt exfoliation, wild mustard seeds, purifying clays, and coastal redwood mists. Guests should also check out the energy balancing and meridian point massage, spiritual experiences with healing sound therapy, and several other treatments – inspired by the natural surroundings of the world-famous Russian River Valley.
