You’ll find H2O bars with sparkling and flat purified water on every floor. All 33 studio-style rooms have oak floors, mid-century modern furnishings, Treko hand-loomed throws, Peace Industry rugs, and either patios or balconies. If your budget allows, upgrade to one of the Founder’s Suites, which flaunt separate living and sleeping areas as well as tile-clad, open bathrooms with cast concrete vanities and giant soaking tubs. Organic toiletries and plush robes elevate the spa-like experience.
The lively indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge pours vino from many of the region’s historic family wineries and up-and-coming winemakers and mixes up stellar cocktails (try the spicy mezcal margarita). If you’re feeling peckish, definitely order a few of the shareable dishes. The shrimp ceviche tostadas, local oysters with mignonette, and Wagyu sliders are always a hit.

Quail & Condor bakes buttery, flaky croissants. The highly anticipated, plant-focused Little Saint recently opened to much fanfare. Be sure to make a reservation for lunch or dinner at Barndiva.
