Plush seating permeates the space, and dimly lit antique chandeliers hover from above, spawning a moody feel. While it may be a gin-focused bar, vodka, tequila, whiskey, and wine admirers won’t face a short selection: The Handle Your Scandal, On Tap — Tequileño Blanco, passionfruit, super lime, wasabi pea rim — and the Nouveau Old Fashioned — Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Copali Cacao Rum, acidified orange, cherry garnish, and Angostura bitters — are two libations to try.
Pair these cocktails with a few items from the “Raw Bar” and “Starters” menus, which lean into the likes of French finger food and Japanese flavors. The Tuna TarTare is an ambrosial choice, comprising coriander sauce, cucumber, and tobiko. Not to miss too are the oysters, which arrive in the kitchen daily.
