To all our fellow magazine and hotel lovers, we’ve got exciting news for you: Renowned fashion publishing house ELLE just announced the launch of their new hotel brand, ELLE Hospitality.
ELLE Hospitality will debut two new boutique hotel concepts, each one congruent with the ethos of its publications, ELLE & ELLE DÉCOR: a constant celebration of women, design, and craftsmanship. With a presence across 80 countries — there are 45 editions of ELLE and 29 of ELLE DÉCOR yearly — the media house has garnered an honorable reputation around the globe (needless to say, everyone has heard of ELLE).
First to premiere is Maison ELLE, which will open this autumn in the same city as the brand’s headquarters, Paris. With just 25 guestrooms & suites, plus a reposeful spa, the boutique outpost sits in the French capital’s 17th arrondissement, near the Arc de Triomphe. Maison ELLE aims to provide an accessible home-from-home experience for fashion-forward travelers. In partnership with European hospitality group STUDIO V, guests can expect a chic décor with design influences spawning from the latest trends.
“Beyond the hotels themselves, our guests look for meaning and a sense of belonging. That’s why today, bringing to life a brand’s emotional connection with the consumer, through hospitality experiences and design, is central to our approach with Maison ELLE”, says Pascal Donat, CEO of Studio V.
Second to debut will be the ELLE Hotel, which is due to open in the Mexican state of Jalisco, on the Pacific Ocean, come summer 2023. The eco-conscious, luxe outpost will take inspiration cues from the surrounding locale, including the natural landscape and cultural keypoints. ELLE Hotel’s most significant nod to its parent media house is its design, which leverages local talent from aspiring female designers and artisans throughout the restaurant, common areas, plus guestrooms & suites.
