With the Ozark Mountains welcoming over five million visitors each year, this centrally-located outdoor adventure haven is one of America’s prominent family-friendly, nature-infused destinations. Sitting in the heart of Branson, Missouri, The Ozarker Lodge debuted this summer as the region’s first design-centric boutique hotel experience.
Styled by Midwest-based design firm PARINI, modern design collides with vintage motifs, spawning a mountain lodge reminiscent of America’s nostalgic road trip past. The grand lobby features rustic wood architecture, chocolate brown leather furnishings, and expansive glass garage door windows that allow sunlight to spill into the nature-centric gathering space.
An earth-toned color palette creates a warm and inviting atmosphere within the newly-renovated 102 guestrooms and suites: the prized “Ozarker Suite” is the hotel’s largest accommodation that sleeps up to six guests with a plush king bed, two queen beds, a kitchenette, and a dining area, which is ideal for longer stays with big groups. All accommodations provide Marshall Bluetooth speakers, 50” TVs, and luxury toiletries in en-suite bathrooms. (To note: most rooms are on the first, second, and third floors with walk-up access only.)
After action-packed days of exploring The Ozark’s hiking trails — including Lakeshore Trail, White River Trail, and Homesteader’s Trail — guests can lounge by the brand-new outdoor pool or dip in the cedar soaking tubs overlooking the natural creek. Cozy fire pits provide the perfect setting for roasting s’mores under the glittering stars. Movie nights poolside with a bowl of buttery popcorn transport guests back to simpler times.
Fuel up at the Storeroom, the Ozarker’s onsite coffee bar and mercantile shop, with a specialty cup of joe and local treats such as Grandma Ruth’s Cinnamon Rolls before outdoor excursions. As the evening approaches, the lodge’s central location in the town of Branson provides a medley of dining options for dinner that serve classic American fare. Head to Downing Street Pour House for an American smoke and fire interpretation of a traditional English pub, or the Turkey Creek Brewery for craft brews, wood-fired pizza, and wings.
For a relaxed mountain getaway in the Ozarks, The Ozarker Lodge is a charming boutique stay that sets the stage for lifelong memories made in the great outdoors.
