Bumble Is Opening an Exciting New Café in New York

So, we have some news that you might want to swipe right for: Dating and networking application Bumble (@Bumble) is opening up an all-day café and wine bar in New York City. Located in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood, Bumble Brew (@BumbleBrewNYC) catches eyes with both its bright yellow façade and attachment to the noteworthy brand.

Delicious Hospitality Group—the force behind highly-praised Italian restaurant Charlie Bird (@CharlieBirdNYC) — and Bumble have joined forces to create this permanent establishment, which the latter states will be a space “for the community to gather, for genuine connections to be built, and for guests to interact.”

The spot welcomes guests for all reasonings—whether that be a date, catch-up with friends, networking event, or “me, myself, and I” moment with a pastry.

Turn your notifications on for this one: Intentioned to evoke coffee shop vibes during the day and wine bar semblances by night, Bumble Brew is set to open July 24. Designed by Float Studio (@Float.Studio), the space will sport an 80-seat dining room, cocktail bar, patio, and private dining room.

This restaurant opening is spawned by the company’s 2017 decision to offer the Bumble experience offline and IRL through their Bumble Hive concept—pop-up spaces designed to foster connections amongst community members through interactive sessions with entrepreneurs and thought leaders. These events took places in a handful of major cities, including NYC, London, Austin, and Los Angeles

Culinary efforts are led by Chef Ryan Hardy, who has created a menu with small plates such as homemade pasta and vegetable assemblages. Sommelier Grant Reynolds is at the helm of the wine list.

The famous dating app is known for letting women make the first move when it comes to conversing with potential matches. So, with that, the restaurant will tune a playlist of mostly women artists.

All in all, whether or not you found success on Bumble, this place is a pretty interesting concept.

This also leaves us curious: Tinder, Hinge, and The League, will we be seeing a café from you, too?
