Vietnam may not be as popular amongst tourists as other Southeast Asia countries, but it’s well worth a visit. Its stunning scenery includes towering peaks and mountains plus rolling rice paddy fields, and lush greenery. It also boasts more than 3,200 miles of shoreline. As such, the beaches here are truly breathtaking. Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site complete with limestone cliffs, picturesque greenery, and pristine waters, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It’s also an excellent spot for outdoor enthusiasts since its picture-perfect surroundings make a great backdrop for hiking. Da Nang is also known for its beaches and mountain vistas. The Mekong Delta, known for its floating markets, is another top spot. Lastly, no trip is complete without a visit to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest — and arguably most historic — city.
