Upon waking up at Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa, you might be slightly startled – especially if the curtains are drawn and you catch a glimpse of the crystal-clear turquoise water shimmering in the distance. You might rub the sleep away from your eyes and wonder if you’re somehow still dreaming. Of course, you’re not still dreaming – you’ve just woken up in paradise.

Paradise, otherwise known as Le Barthélemy, is located on the picturesque island of Saint Barthélemy. This five-star luxury boutique hotel, known for its impeccable service, breathtaking views, and commitment to elegance, stands as a haven for those seeking an unforgettable escape in one of the world’s most idyllic (and renowned) tropical paradises. With its perfect blend of French sophistication and Caribbean charm, Le Barth is synonymous with refined leisure, unrivaled hospitality, and pure bliss.

Complete with 44 rooms and suites as well as two private villas, Le Barth’s accommodations are the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. There are nine different room styles to choose from, including the Ocean Jacuzzi room (which has a spacious terrace with a private jacuzzi as well as direct access to the pool), the Océan Vue Mer room (which has a private outdoor terrace overlooking the sea), La Suite Barthélemy Plage (which has an outdoor seating area with direct access to the beach, a large master bedroom, two guest rooms, and spacious private terraces), and more. Although the rooms range in size, most feature king-size beds, large walk-in rainfall showers, and Diptyque amenities.

And, if you really want to bask in luxury, Le Barth has two incredible villas: Villa Aqua and Villa Bleu. These exclusive villas are private and secluded yet fully equipped, making them feel just like a home away from home.

As the name suggests, Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa has a spa that’s worthy of praise. Le Spa, which is located underground, is a wellness center that caters to guests’ minds, bodies, and beauty needs. Find a selection of services, including signature La Mer facials, Thalion body treatments, tailor-made massages, and more. Additionally, the spa is equipped with world-class amenities, including a sauna, hammam, and three Nordic baths (one warm tub that’s 100 °F and two cold tubs that are at 52°F and 41°F).

For those who like to indulge, Le Barthélemy has two on-property restaurants – Amis St. Barth and Le Turquoise – both serving an array of mouthwatering meals. Led by Michelin-starred Chef Jéremy Czaplick, Amis St. Barth is one of the best establishments on the island. It offers a delightful fusion of French and Caribbean flavors that capture the essence of St. Barth’s unique culinary scene. Guests can try various dishes, from fresh seafood creations to decadent French classics, all paired with an impressive wine and cocktail list. Plus, it’s open for breakfast, when guests can enjoy a seaside buffet and à la carte signature meals; for lunch, when they can nosh on the flavors of the restaurant from the beach; and during dinner, when they can sing along to live music while savoring the exquisite menu.

As for Le Turquoise, this poolside bar has an extensive cocktail list that pairs well with balmy afternoons and dips in the ocean. We suggest sipping on the signature Le Turquoise drink, which is made with Ki No Bi gin, blue Curaçao, coco water, lime, and a dash of Sprite, or the Star Fish Slush, which has a mix of vodka, vanilla, lime, and passion fruit. And, speaking of drinks, Le Barth also has a rooftop bar (W.T.F Rooftop Bar), which has themed parties on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Whether it’s a visit to Le Spa, a gourmet dining experience at Amis St. Barth, or simply an afternoon lounging by a private pool with a view of the island’s picture-perfect landscape, every moment spent at Le Barth is a dream come true.
