Canada sits north of the United States and is one of the world’s largest countries. But don’t let size fool you: There are more people in the state of California than Canada as a whole. So, if you’re a nature lover, this is the country for you: Lake Louise in Alberta and Gaspésie National Park in Quebec are just two of many destinations we encourage visiting. When experiencing these reserves, go past the view and opt to learn more about Canada’s First Nation people.
That said, if you’re a lover of the city, don’t overlook Canada’s metropolises: Vancouver is where urban brilliance meets calming forests; Toronto is diverse and cosmopolitan; and Montreal displays Canada’s Francophone province of Quebec’s culture at every corner, from language to traditions.
