Do you like the color pink? 💗
The ultimate attention-grabber, psychologists say the color pink is most associated with love and kindness. Today, we round up our favorite pink restaurants.
Ladyfinger’s Tea Lounge
Ladyfinger’s Tea Lounge at the Garrison Inn Hotel in Newburyport, MA is replete with pink. It’s the perfect ambiance, with cool china & teacups, impressionist paintings, marbled flooring and pink-velvet chairs. The restaurant will be reopening soon.
Sketch London
Sketch London is located in posh neighborhood, Mayfair. To say it’s iconic is an understatement. Thanks to visionary Paris-Based Interior Designer India Mahdavia, the space is one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in the world. Rooms-wise, it’s The Gallery at Sketch London that flaunts an interior lathered in Ladurée-Esque powder pink, where walls are adorned with 239 eclectic hanging art pieces and velvet-covered furnishings set the tone for a bourgeois environment. Afternoon tea here is a must.
The Siren Hotel
The Siren Hotel in Detroit boasts one of Midwest’s coolest spaces, Candy Bar Detroit. Conceptualized to be redolent of “old Hollywood,” the cocktail lounge features Jayne Mansfield pink paint and an oxblood color palette, plush furnishings, a sparkly vintage disco ball, and grand glass chandelier. Our favorite libation? The bubble-gum flavored Bubble Rum, which consists of extra dry rum, bubble gum syrup, lemon sherbet, suze bitters, and hopped grapefruit bitters.
MaMa Kelly Amsterdam
MaMa Kelly Amsterdam exudes the playfulness of the color pink, with a glistening décor of rose-gold finishes and luminous splendors. High tea is great here; however, if in the mood for a larger dish, the restaurant’s famous chicken & lobster is sure to please.
