French art deco interior design permeates the eight-story Tribeca hotel, from its common areas to its 97 rooms. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio couples Tribeca’s modern industrialism with Parisian classicism (the latter serves as a hallmark of the Hotel Barrière brand).
You arrive at a red-brick façade (very NYC, yes), only to then shortly after enter a delicate, French-chic lobby: a large reception desk topped in rainbow onyx stone stands to the right, and to the back, vignetted furnishings wear exquisite hues of red, gold, and green, thoughtfully assembled to encourage guests to grab a coffee or read a magazine and stay a while, as if they were in their own living room.
