Oui, oui — France is where it’s at. The European nation sometimes gets a bad rap, but don’t be fooled and skip out on a trip here. From the hustle-of-and-bustle of Paris to the beaches of St. Tropez, France offers something for everyone. Now, back to Paris: While you can’t miss a visit to The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower, and Versailles, you’ll also want to leave enough time to explore the city on your own, whether via shopping, dining, people-watching, or interacting with locals. (Don’t be intimidated!) Head out to Provence, where you’ll find tranquil lavender fields, vineyards, and olive oil groves aplenty. In Cannes and St. Tropez, you can hit the beach in style. France’s Champagne region is home to — you guessed it — the signature bubbly drink, while Bordeaux and Burgundy are known for their red and white wine varieties. Or, venture out to Normandy, where you’ll find the historic Omaha Beach. From here, the island of Mont-Saint-Michel — a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s best known for its palatial-like abbey — is about two-and-a-half hours away.
